The 2008 NHDI Event of the Year

To Fly

 

This year we celebrate the curiosity and genius of Leonardo DaVinci.  Although he lived over 500 years ago, he thought about and imagined things way beyond his time.  Did you know that DaVinci was responsible for creating the first notes and sketches of inventions like the helicopter, the parachute and the tank ??? (And that’s just to name a few!) 

One can only imagine the excitement daVinci must have felt when he thought about the possibilities his inventions held when in the hands of future generations.

The NHDI dancers from the class of 2008 are preparing to embody the dreams of Leonardo daVinci and fast-forward you through time to learn how our current technology owes quite a lot to his vision. 

So, SAVE THE DATE!!!!  May 23-25, 2008 and be prepared To Fly! away with us!
